On November 12, the Jaume Balagueró film starring Freddie Highmore premiered. A couple of weeks later it is already at the top, stealing the number one spot at the box office from Eternals, by Marvel.
Way Down and its mysteries have managed to attract viewers. Although it is presented as a heist film, it is actually pure adventure cinema. The group of protagonist thieves, with Freddie Highmore bringing to life an engineering genius, wants to get their hands on the treasure of Francis Drake that is hidden in the armored vault of the Bank of Spain. A bank completely different from any other financial entity. A bank absolutely impregnable, from which no one has been able to steal, from which there is no data, plans… an authentic mystery. They get a golden opportunity to carry it out when Spain reaches the final of the 2011 South Africa World Cup. With all the attention focused on the match, the robbers can carry out their mission and hope that the bank’s security chief doesn’t hunt them down in time.
Octocam couldn’t be absent, we participated in the filming of Way Down in Barcelona, with one of our Alfa 8 Drones. It was a thrilling filming, with high-altitude scenes following the fast customs control speedboats at over 30 knots.
If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by the cinemas to enjoy some great aerial images!
