With your help, we have reached over 1,000kgs (438.4kgs in Madrid and 609kgs in Barcelona). These basic, non-perishable foods that cannot be easily obtained will be distributed by el Banco de Alimentos to charitable organisations registered in the Community of Madrid and Barcelona to help families and people who survive daily with extraordinarily reduced resources, a situation that has worsened the serious economic crisis we are experiencing. Before Covid-19 the Food Banks have been more destitute than ever. For this reason, we wanted jump in to help. The cinema, advertising and, in general, the audiovisual sector, is often a amplifier and mirror of the social reality in which we live. We (Octocamvision) and with the collaboration of the APCP, also wanted to be a speaker for this situation and be a tool to make it change. During the course of two weeks, together with the APCP, we launched the campaign #ProducciónKilo. #ProducciónKilo, is an online food collection campaign in which anyone who wanted to could participate by choosing what and how much they wanted / could donate. Our goal was to collect as many donations as  possible to help the Food Banks in the two cities most affected by the Covid-19: Barcelona and Madrid. The campaign was launched through Octocamvision and APCP’s social medias with great success. Donations were made through the official pages of each of the banks and the options for donations were products such as oil, milk, vegetables, eggs, … Non-perishable food items.
